Recently we announced we were entering a transitional season in the life of GC3, one where we are deliberately taking the time to evaluate, to look forward, and to wait on God for His direction as to what could be. It’s against this backdrop that we’re able to announce the first exciting step in this process!
We are pleased to tell you we have appointed Murray Stevenson to a new role of Missions Ambassador within our GC3 team.
This role will see Murray liaising with churches and their missions leadership to promote the work of cross-cultural mission generally, concentrating on the work of GC3 and the mission partners it serves.
Murray has a pastoral heart with a focus on mission and the proclamation of the gospel and brings a depth of biblical perspective and hands-on experience to this role. We will be leveraging on both his and Joy’s many years in pastoral roles within NZ churches as well as over twenty-four years of active cross-cultural missions involvement. All this experience brings a richness of relationship and understanding for Murray to draw on, something which will be of great benefit to us all.
Murray comes to this role with the full support of his wife Joy, and their church, Clark Road Chapel, Whangarei.
We welcome Murray into this role, and we thank God that Murray has been able to join the team at this important time.
