Many Pakistani people have trusted in Jesus, but don't have a Bible yet.
Many of our brothers and sisters in Pakistan don't have their own Bible, so Lui Ponifasio from LifeChurch in Auckland wants to bring Urdu Bibles with him when he visits this June. Each Bible costs $12, and Lui's goal is to take 5,000 with him.
Lui visited a brick kiln village, on his last trip. A local Pakistani pastor had been running a weekly Bible study there, and many people trusted in Jesus. None of these new believers had a Bible, so everyone who could read was given a copy for themselves and their families.
"How sweet are your words to my taste,
sweeter than honey to my mouth!"
Psalm 119:103
Lui is travelling to Pakistan to train Church planters and speak at Open Air Crusades.
Pray for him and his ministry and everyone who will hear the gospel at the meetings.
Pray also for our Pakistani brothers and sisters when they receive a copy of the Urdu Bible for the first time.
